چکیده

Purpose This study aims to investigate the interplay between renewable energy development, unemployment and GDP growth within Bangladesh, India, Pakistan Sri Lanka. The research underscores significant role of plays in stimulating economic mitigating unemployment, offering crucial policy insights for sustainable South Asia. Design/methodology/approach Utilizing autoregressive distributive lag (ARDL) framework Toda Yamamoto causality through vector (VAR) approach, analyzes long-term short-term impacts these variables from 1990 2019. Findings reveals a co-integration among consumption, selected Asian countries. estimation shows consumption influences negatively progression with no notable correlation unemployment. In contrast, Lanka demonstrates an optimal relationship all variables. Short-run assessments reveal positive while inverse is evident Pakistan. Moreover, progression, result negative India Research limitations/implications emphasizes need development concerning reduction While limitations exist, future can expand upon this work by incorporating varied data, additional countries or alternative modeling techniques. Originality/value offers unique exploration into multidimensional context, area previously unexplored such depth.

Economic Growth and Renewable Energy in Iran

Energy plays an active role in sustainable development in Iran, both in the sustainable and the development aspects. This study aims to estimate the nexus of economic growth and the renewable energy in Iran during 1981-2012. We employ the Auto-Regressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to estimate a log-linear equation. The results suggest that renewable energy consumption is an insignificant driv...

Analysis of the simultaneous effects of renewable energy consumption and GDP, using Dynamic Panel Data

In the recent years, renewable energy sources are an important component of world energy consumption. GDP is one of the main measures of a country’s economic activity. Most of the studies examine the impact of renewable energy consumption on GDP with single equation model and the others use dynamic panel data. Since the Granger causality analysis’s findings of this paper establish bidirectional...
